As a consequence of Auckland City’s district plan change 163 the impact on residential 1 activity and the status of pre-1940 dwellings within that zone has meant that proposed development of sites, additions and alterations of the buildings, or proposed demolition or removal of pre-1940 buildings is considered a restricted discretionary activity subject to a number of particular criteria.

Archifact-architecture & conservation limited was invited to assess the special built, and streetscape character values of the property against relevant criteria.

The resource consent was granted.
