Archifact; in collaboration with Common Architects were awarded the NZIA Regional Award in Wellington for Heritage for the Erskine Chapel project and have been shortlisted for the NZ NZIA Heritage award.
Cuba Farmers won a Wellington 2021 NZIA local branch Heritage Award – Archifact worked in association with Athfield Architects on this project.
At the 2019 Property Industry Awards held in Auckland on June 14th – 44 Symonds Street gained a Merit Award in the Heritage & Adaptive Reuses Category. We are proud to also have been involved in The Best in Category Award winner – Campbells Bay Early Learning Centre project plus under The Commercial Office Awards category the Charles Fergusson Building, Wellington which gained a Merit Award and the Best in Category Award winner PwC Centre, Wellington. Under The Retail Property Award category we offered specialised heritage advice on the Best in Category Winner H&M Commercial Bay.
Archifact – architecture & conservation in association with RTA Studio were awarded a 2019 NZIA Auckland Architecture Heritage Award and a Resene Colour Award for the category A Former State Flats Building at 44 Symonds Street.
Archifact – architecture & conservation ltd in association with Naylor Love, Beca and RTA Studio were awarded a Heritage & Restoration Silver Award for the Waikohanga House, Block A University of Auckland project at the NZ Commercial Project Awards in May 2019.
In association with RTA studios, Archifact’s work on the category A former State Flats Building at 44 Symonds Street has been shortlisted both for a number of NZIA branch awards and the New Zealand Commercial Projects Awards.
The result is one of the best examples of revitalisation of a significant heritage place in the Auckland region.
